Melissa Shervington
E.ngage Consultancy Director
Melissa Shervington has a wealth of knowledge and experience within the field of community engagement, which was initially developed through a background in social housing and community regeneration. She has experience working with and amongst communities and is passionate about empowering local people to ensure that their voices are heard and recognised, in order to bring about positive change which meets the needs of stakeholders as well as service providers.
Melissa has been involved in a range of community consultation and engagement projects over the past ten years, across sectors - ranging from the development of estate action plans and service agreements and community open day events to delivering specialised community engagement training.
Her creativity and innovative methods to engage with diverse groups of people, while incorporating the aspirations of local people into strategy and service delivery standards, have set her apart. Melissa’s passion has led her to the creation and development of E.ngage Consultancy, with a vision to work with clients/service providers to achieve a lasting and transformational change within local communities and improve service delivery through effective stakeholder engagement.

Mashkura Begum
E.ngage Consultancy Associate
Mashkura has in excess of 10 years experience in community cohesion matters, community development and community and stakeholder engagement. She has a real passion for social capital building.
Mashkura has worked for Connexions, Urban Living (Housing Regeneration Programme) and currently manages the Birmingham Leadership Foundation. She is on the management board for two very dynamic community organisations that focuses on empowering young people from inner city Birmingham and newly arrived communities.
Mashkura has varied experience in both the voluntary sector and public sector, this is due to directly working in both sectors hence she understands the limitations and flexibility within both. An experienced and successful project development manager who delivers projects on time and on budget.
Mashkura’s academic qualification includes a LLB Law degree, NVQ Level 4 in Advice & Guidance, Prince2 and is currently in the final stages of completing MBA with a focus on strategic management and leadership.
Mashkura is a strategic thinker, understands the wider picture however, never underestimates the importance of grass roots delivery and when required is happy ‘roll her sleeves’ to get things going.

As the CEO of Break.through Training & Consultancy and Associate of E.ngage Consultancy - Suzzanne is a dynamic, motivational and resourceful leader, manager, trainer, facilitator, youth and community development consultant and practitioner.
Suzzanne dedicates herself to lifelong learning and development, striving for self-improvement and excellence.
Suzzanne specialises in designing, developing, promoting and enhancing opportunities for change, growth and well-being in professional and personal development environments.
With an excess of 25 years of experience of working nationally within public, private, community and voluntary settings, Suzzanne works closely with E.ngage Consultancy to shape and deliver training packages, tailored to meet the core needs of our clients.
